Like Tetras, Danios, Guppies and other species, Barbs are readily available to the aquarium hobbyist. A word of caution in that all of the species of Barbs are more aggressive. The Tin Foil Barb actually can get quite large and aggressive, so you may wish to keep this in mind, when considering Barbs generally for a community aquarium. Please see specific species of Barbs.

Do to the
freeze in FL, 50% - 75% of the fish were lost by fish farms. One half of
all tropical fish sold in the USA come from FL fish farms. Thus
fish are needed by pet shops. Aquarium-Club.com Members with fish
for sale should contact us with what they have for sale per requests to
fill orders to pet shops being sent to us.
